Two years ago, I wrote my first “musings” post and it was all about change. And somehow, I named it volume one knowing that that wouldn’t be the last time I would want to talk about change. I probably should have written one last year too but I guess life caught up with me.
In my last post on change, I talked about the fear of leaving something you love in hopes of going towards something better (in this case Europe…). But you see, that’s not the case these days. I’m staying in D.C. I’m not leaving anything. Maybe I am looking for something better though. I mean, aren’t we all? It’s human nature.
I love the idea of wrapping up the year with a little overview of what it looked like. Remembering the moments, photos and the places makes the year what it was and I want to be able to remember that! Even though 2016 was definitely eventful and many can’t wait for it to be over, my 2016 was a time filled with lots of exploration and love and it’s a year I will look back to with fond memories forever.

I’ve had cats in my life since the very beginning… and I’ve always been obsessed with them. (Like seriously, crazy cat lady alert!) But all kidding aside, recently they’ve taught me a very important lesson.
This semester, I interned with Meg Biram who, in a nutshell, is one boss ass blogger. Since my time with her wrapped this past Tuesday, I figured I would commemorate with reflecting on the five most important things I’ve learned from interning with her.
