Vibe: Creative people creatin’ things
Coffee & Food: I had high hopes for this spot as a friend of mine who takes her coffee seriously recommended this spot. But I hate to say, the mocha was not my friend. A bit burnt, a bit flat, a bit watery. Just overall not my thang. I also got a cookie which was fine. This isn’t a spot I would come to because I was craving something to eat or drink… but the ambiance? Yes, please.
Seating: This little spot has quite a bit of seating. Some at the window, some tables, some tabletops and even a couch area. I think I remember seeing an outdoor area as well. It wasn’t hard per say to find seating but the day I went (a rainy Sunday) was quite busy.
Overall: There’s something about this spot that I inherently like. There’s a warm, off the beaten path there and I like that it’s filled with people who just seem super creative and nice. It’s not pretentious at all and felt very welcoming. While I wouldn’t go back for the coffee, I definitely would for the vibe. Even though the neighborhood isn’t my favorite (read: slightly sketchy), it’s nice to get outside of your comfort zone and area sometimes.
